The aim of the International Conference was to analyze the situation with drainage in Central Asia and development of proposals on strategy of sustainable development of irrigated farming and agricultural productivity increase with feasible investments in drainage. The International Conference gathered representatives of national hydrogeologic reclamation expeditions, international organizations and scientific research institutes. Along with presentations of the international conference key speakers, the international conference participants made presentation according to the questions developed by the organizing board of the international conference, which were distributed in advance among representatives of national HRE of CARs. During the international conference various options of improving of existing situations were deliberated.
