Public participation in sustainable water resources management May 31- June 3, 2005, Tashkent, Uzbekistan
ICWC TC under support of USAID has organized a workshop on "Public participation for ensuring sustainable water resources management". The workshop gathered water specialists from Central Asian countries.

The overall objective was to train water specialists dealing with communities. The workshop participants listened presentations of lecturers and participated in interactive exercises of trainers. Along with specialists from SIC ICWC, representatives of regional projects as WUASP, NRMP and NGO "Logos", Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia, NGO Ecomaktab, NGO Armon.
